Plans for the Future: 

1. Magical - London wants to work as a ministry liaison between England and Burkina Faso, traveling from one to the other as much as she can.
2. Modern - London doesn't know but right now she works for a publishing company and paperwork is all the rage these days.

Personality: 

How could one describe London? She's rude and brash but honest and severely loyal to her friends. Sometimes she can't see through her anger enough to sort out what has actually happened. Her first impressions aren't really all that great. She can be nice when she wants to be but strangers sort of weird her out in a way. Once somebody gets to know her they see that she has a foul mouth but a great heart. She would do anything for those that she loves and often puts herself out there for her friends. Once you're in her good books it's going to be really hard to get out. She can take a lot and usually understands when her friends get angry at her. She tries her hardest to be accommodating but it doesn't always show. She's really just a big pushover unless you actually push her. London is also pretty affectionate with her friends. Sometimes she treats them more life furniture than people. Really, it's just a way for her to show her love!

History:

Yasmine Asseta had been living in Ouagadougou all her life, was a proud graduate of Uagadou School of Magic, and had been working at the Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Magic for nearly five years when she got the chance to travel to London. She was initially supposed to be sorting out a trades deal with their department of magical imports and exports but she soon became distracted with the sights and decided to stay a little longer than she would have before. One day she got lost in the city and met the most interesting muggle she had ever seen.


One could say it was a very odd day when Stephen Kale met Yasmine. It was just a month after his divorce when he was wandering the streets, trying to think of how he could convince her to take him back. He hadn't been paying attention when he walked right into this woman. She was dressed in strange clothes he had never seen before and when he backed up to apologize she had dropped a bag of… toads? He glanced from the hopping forms and the woman for a few seconds before she finally asked him for directions.


That was how it came to be that they got lost together in the city. Stephen had been living there his whole life and he had forgotten that he was actually a really awful navigator. Yasmine didn't seem to mind, though. Then they spent the next day together…And the next… Until time had flown by enough that days turned into weeks and weeks into months.


When Yasmine found out that she was pregnant she panicked and ran back to the only other place that she knew. She went right back to her ministry job and right back to her old home. With her heart broken, she decided that naming her daughter after him would be too much so she just named her after the city she had fallen in love with. Thus London Asseta was born.


When London was three her mother was urged to go back to England again. At first she had refused but when the pressure got too high she caved in. Surely she wouldn't run into him! He had probably forgotten all about her. With that thought in mind, the two traveled to England and Yasmine took London to all of the places that she loved. After their first few days there Stephen ran into them and Yasmine was ready to run again. Stephen had glanced from Yasmine to London and look as though he were about to dive off a cliff. 


"I thought I would never see you again." 


It turns out that Stephen's devotion ran deep and he and Yasmine connected again almost instantly. It was then that she told him of her magic. "Oh!" He looked confused for a moment. "That explains the toads..."

That is how London ended up staying in England permanently. Her mother was quite fond of muggle things and showed favoritism towards their way of life. Several years later they were going for a drive when they were hit by an out of control driver. Yasmine and Stephen Kale were killed on impact while London had to stay in the muggle hospital for weeks.
